History of Car Number: Pat's dad Terry ran #34 on all of his racecars. Terry bought his
first racecar from his good friend Ron Hemsted (Lone Tree, Iowa) and Ron's number was 34. Terry decided to keep the
number and it has been the family racing number ever since. On a couple of occasions Pat got to race against Dave Hemsted
(Ron's son) and they were both sporting the 34!
